
SMART PETS GROOMING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT:
- We accept cash and yoco on the day or EFT 24 hours before the groom. Funds need to reflect in our bank account before we can commence the grooming session.
- Failure to make timeous payment will result in late payment fees and interest and may result in an impaired credit record.
- By using our services, you agree to being personally liable for all collection fees and interest, legal fees, late payment fees and interest.
PRICING:
- Prices given over the phone are based on Smart Pets employee’s judgement and on the information provided by the client.
- Prices are subject to change based on specifics of the pet.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
- Our hours of service are Mondays to Sundays 8:00AM to 17:00PM. Public holidays are on request and availability.
BOOKING RESERVATIONS:
- Please ensure that you book at least 48 hours before the grooming session is required as we try to accommodate all our clients.
- Cancellations must be done at least the day before by 17:00PM.
ILLNESS/INJURY:
Pets’ medical history must be disclosed before any grooming commences. We retain the right to refuse to groom any pet that may have any of the following:
- Stitches from any surgery.
- Any wounds both open and closed until its healed.
- Any form of ill health.
- Vomiting and Diarrhoea.
- Breathing difficulties and unusual lethargy.
- Any signs of injury not yet attended to by a vet.
- Pregnant pets and puppies less than 4 months old.
By using Smart Pets PTY LTD services, the client agrees to the following conditions set out below:
- The pet is fit and healthy. (Grooming of sick and elderly pets is entirely at the client’s risk). Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that we cannot be held liable for.
- The pet is vaccinated and up to date. An unvaccinated pet put itself and others at risk.
- It must be clearly understood and agreed that whilst every attention is given to your pets they are accepted at the client’s risk. Our first concern is for the welfare of your pet so in the event of injury or illness a vet may be called in and all costs in connection with and in the carrying out of this instruction shall be at the client’s expense.
- The client acknowledges that no complaints will be addressed more than 24 hours after being groomed.
TICKS AND FLEAS:
- The client should advise when booking if the pet has ticks and fleas so that alternatives can be provided to remedy the situation.
AGGRESSIVE/DIFFICULT PETS:
- Pets that are aggressive, difficult or suffer with anxiety issues will generally be muzzled for their safety and ours. If your pet is unable to settle down, we reserve the right to stop the grooming because safety comes first.
- Please note that Smart Pets are not qualified to sedate your pet or offer any calming medication for your pet. In this instance you will be required to contact your vet to find the best solution to calm your pet to be
groomed. This is done entirely a at the client’s risk.
PUBLIC LIABILITY:
- While every care is taken to ensure the safety of all pets, clients will not hold Smart Pets PTY LTD, its staff or owners liable for any loss or injury to their pets and/ or property.
MARKETING:
- By using Smart Pets PTY LTD the client agrees to their pet being photographed and being used on Smart Pets PTY LTD website/social media for the purpose of marketing.
